Bucket List

I have just finished reading this book. Monique, the main character was left a bucket list to complete, after the death of her husband.  She and two friends travelled around Europe to complete it, while finding out lots of things about themselves and each other.  After reading this it made me wonder what I would have on my bucket list, so I sat down and started a list.  It was actually a lot harder to do than I thought it would be, and I guess thinking of financial restrictions, somewhat limited it.  Anyway here is what I have come up with so far:

  • visit the castles on my Castle pinterest board
  • have a ride in a hot air balloon
  • walk through a field of daffodils and pick a huge bouquet of them

  • get a short blond urchin cut (when my hair is a lot greyer, and I don't have to worry about regrowth so much)
  • see the San Francisco "Old Ladies" in Alamo Square

What would be on your bucket list?

  1. I'm not sure what I would write but walking through a field of daffodils (or tulips) picking a huge bouquet sounds like it deserves to be there!

  2. What a fabulous list friend! Isn't Pinterest fantastic for keeping all of these ideas together...visiting those castles would be awesome! And that book sounds like a good read! I would like to do just that....travel Europe and paint somewhere like Spain. You have got me thinking friend! I think I ought to write it down as well! Thank you for the inspiration and I hope that your week is off to a great start! Nicole xoxo

  3. Hi,
Right now I would say driving along the Lake Superior Circle. I would want to take my time and visit each community. I know each community is different along its shores.
    Fun post today. Thank you.

  4. I've been thinking about this a bit - I like your choices, though I'm not so keen on the balloon ride, I do love the San Fran one. I think at the top of my bucket list at the moment would be Disneyland in California, with maybe a visit to New York for shopping as well! We have lots of daffodils that bloom along the driveway, not quite a paddock, but enough. Come and visit if you wish! :-)
