Scenes from my Week

From the book pile:
  • this collection of long waited for books, newly arrived from the library
  • this book - just finished - a really interesting fictional read about a young Italian girl in Argentina - her life, loves and most importantly tango
From the hand stitching pile:
  • Lots of binding to hand stitch down now - projects are getting completed
From the letter box
  • New low volume fabrics - this is a selection of Moda's Modern Basics.
From the chocolate makes everything better club:
  • Hot chocolate, homemade fudge cake and a beautiful book - the perfect way to unwind on a wet day after work.

  1. Looks like a good week. All you need now is some sunshine! I have a quilt called Tango...it's very orange :)

  7. What a lovely post about your week. Can't believe how much you fit in. Interesting low volume fabrics and wonder what you'll use them for. My reading seems to take a back seat these days, but do enjoy when I can. Take care.

    1. I ignore the housework a lot of the time, reading is usually done at night before I go to sleep. A lot of the low volume fabrics will be used in my scrappy sampler quilt.
