Weekending

  • the mess on my sewing table after my paper piecing effort
  • lots of little blocks ready to be turned into a snowflake block, for my last Minute Christmas Sampler QAL, which I must get done, cos block 4 has been just been released.
  • The Two Knights pillow is finished.  Binding was stitched down at a very productive (for a change) sewing day with Rachel,  Deb and another new friend called Rachael.
  • More library book goodness
Hope you all have a fabulous week.

  3. Your snowflake block looks like it's all going to go together beautifully, well done you! Hm-m-m- looking at your little pile of scraps reminds me why, after a couple of attempts, I've shied away from paper pieced projects ever since! Linda

  4. Ah, I just discovered Forest Feast a wee while ago. Yum oh food.
Paper piecing - love the result, hate the mess! I usually do mine on interfacing so I don't have to take the foundation out. I have been reading about paperless paper piecing, must give it a go.
