Weekending

  • baking and eating - cinnamon and brown sugar brioche for breakfast, and also this chilli for dinner
  • reading - this book, by the fire
  • sewing - some secret and these not so secret blocks for my scrappy sampler quilt.

  5. I enjoy catching up with your patchworky things, but I must admit, I also quite like following up on some of the books... thanx for the links! {I'm reading Rachel Joyce's new sequel to "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry", an emotional but great read about the woman he walked 627 miles to save!}

  7. sniff... you can't find cinnamon buns like this in Germany, and baking is the one kind of cooking I don't do. (if I don't bake it, then I can't eat it!)

    Nice blocks.

    P.S. Thanks for the links!

    Thank you for the book idea :-)
    We are having a major heat wave here in Wisconsin! HOT and HUMIDITY like crazy. Making for many bad hair days. LOL
