Surprise happy mail
  •  this beautiful crochet throw made by my sister
Still more hexi love
  • template popping
  • hand quilting which was worked on at my sewing day
  • Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld.  A modern day version of Pride and Prejudice, this book is part of the 'Austen Project" where well known authors are rewriting various Jane Austen novels.
Wishing you all a fabulous week.

  1. Beautiful through. I like the circle pattern. Your hexagon project is lovely - again I love the circles! I just ordered that Eligible book. Pride and Prejudice by Jane A. is one of my all time faves. I did read the remake of Sense and Sensibility by Joanna Trollope and that didn't translate well into modern day, so I hope this one does. I'm willing to give it a try! I like the cover on the book - the American version is boring. :)

  2. Simply stunning, I am in awe of your beautiful hexi quilt, love the circles. It is so different.

  3. Love the backside photo of your hexi pillow! It almost looks alive, little eyes everywhere!

  4. Your hand quilting looks very pleasing. Circles off set really suit it.

  5. I'm loving your hand quilting!

  6. Oh... your hexi quilt is perfect !

  7. I love the crochet throw...nice and cozy and the colors are fun.

  8. That surely was some happy mail :-) What a fabulous gift! Your hexies and hand quilting are lovely. I'm not even going to think about the book as I have zero reading time right now ;-)
