Scenes from my Week

  • The rainbow round has been added, now it is up to planning and cutting for the next round.  I think I am going to have to find a bigger fence for photos now.
  • Tomatoes from my Dad's garden, my plants had finished fruiting, so these make it seem like summer is lingering.
  • The last of my summer flowers - cosmos and zinnia, just enough for a little posy.
  • Meeka - she is lucky she's cute, even my family aren't meant to sit on this pillow.
  • Lucy - my stray, who still won't come inside, but is certainly looking well fed and knows where the best sunny spots are on a cool autumnal morning.
  • Another bird in progress.
Hoping you are all enjoying lovely autumnal or spring days too, wherever you are.

  1. Loving the look the next round has made on the pretty rainbow quilt....I'm sure you can find a bigger fence? Lovely furry friends, you must have the cat touch if strays are coming by. Another sweet little bird. Gosh that's nice to still have a supply of Cherry Toms.

  2. Your quilt is looking good, the colour blocks really work well around the block, love the bright colours in there. On the subject of bright colours those tomatoes look delicious, he has done well to keep them producing until now.Love the cat photos - I wondered what had happened to your little stray cat, happy to see she's still around, does she get along with Meeka?

  4. I have to say, I loved the photos of your kitties. We still miss our Catsby. We were cleaning today under furniture and found one of his toys.

I also like the flowers ;-) but you already knew that. :-))

  6. Your 'medallion' is looking great, I love the little cornerstones on the 1st border! And one more pretty bird, will you use a special stitch for the eyes, or maybe use buttons?

  8. I love the rainbow round to your medallion Julie - I am excited to see what you add next! It's interesting watching our pets move their sleeping spots as the weather changes - I am enjoying the lightly cooler weather and all that Autumn brings with it.
