Wednesday WIP

Just for fun - the Happy Hexagon Trivet from Patchwork, Please.  I have been wanting to try this pattern for a while, so today I sat down and pulled out a few fabrics that worked together.  I'm not sure on the glasses in the middle block now, but I am not changing it.  I think I need to find a few novelty/Japanese prints for focal blocks like this. A few frustrations with the fabrics folding and getting caught up underneath the paper pattern as I was stitching, but I got there in the end.  Now just to quilt and bind it.

Linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced.
