Weekending

A long Easter weekend.  The Scout, Miss B and Mr J are all away at an Easter Scout Camp. I had my Mum stay for a couple of days.  Yesterday was very wet, so lots of sewing was done and some chocolate was consumed - the perfect way to spend a rainy day.

  • a good book, hot cross buns and a cup of tea - perfect
  • one finished strawberry dumpling pouch - ready to package up and post
  • two completed blocks for the Pack Patch Quilt-a-long, this weeks themes were April Showers and May Flowers
  • the start of my 241 tote
Hope that you all had a fabulous Easter weekend

  3. Happy Easter, we had a quiet one at home, I had good intentions of getting some gardening done. The only fine day was Friday and that was the day I did sewing with the comment of I will get out in the garden tomorrow (rain and wind ensued)

  4. Sounds like such a lovely weekend. Thanks also for naming the little make up bag. I love this style but couldn't find a tutorial or step by step for doing one as I couldn't find the right shape - now I have, so thanks for making someone else happy this easter too.

  5. Sometimes rain is the perfect excuse to stay cosy inside and sew or read - very nice!

  6. That sounds like a wonderful Easter. Love your strawberry pouch! I like the beginning of your 241 tote, it will look great made from pieced fabric.

  7. A good book, a sweet roll, and tea sounds heavenly!!! That book on top - One Block Quilts? looked good, too. I'm curious what you think of it - I haven't flipped through it but the cover and title seem promising.
