Weekending

  • Binding - multi coloured shot stripes from Kaffe Fasset, so pleased with my seam/stripe  aligning, now just the hand sewing down of it to do on my Scrappy Sampler quilt.
  • Reading:  My Name is Resolute by Nancy Turner.  A  novel, which I really enjoyed, set in America during the mid  to late 1700's.
Have a fabulous week.

    1. It is not too different from using carrot or zucchini in cakes, gives it a slightly earthier taste. I often make a chocolate beetroot cake too, here's a link:

  3. A very "moreish" looking cake there Julie. Love your KF fabric, think I have some of that in my stripes basket - must go and look it out.
