It rained. I sewed,
- Keeping up to date with my City Sampler blocks #100days100blocks - have I mentioned that I don't particularly like making HST, unfortunately this section is full of them. Sigh ....
- Finally made that seashell block for Miss B's Seaglass sampler quilt - it has only been a month since I wrote about making it.
- Made all 16 blocks for my pattern testing project - now I need to piece them together.
PS: The Scout, Miss B and Mr J were on a 3 day Scout hike, so I wasn't ignoring them.
Beautiful blocks Julie - this HST section is certainly challenging!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good weekend. The seashell block is my favourite, really beautiful! xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of progress... and all during a weekend too! I'm so curious about those centers!?!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect weekend- sewing, chocolate, reading! All the City Sampler blocks look great Julie! And the pattern testing is coming along nicely too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you can achieve when you have three days to yourself! Lovely blocks and I see you have of the Tula Pink Slow and Steady fabric in one of them, I'm waiting for some to arrive any day now.
ReplyDeleteMore city blocks, more seaglass blocks, and more pattern testing... a whole lot of lovely Julie!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend. The blocks look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with HST blocks, I don't want to make them. Your testing blocks look so good, really nice colors!
