Here & Now

Loving // All the Dietes Grandiflora that are bursting into bloom , and other small signs of change in the garden- buds, berries, bright green growth.

Eating // Fresh asparagus, fat juicy strawberries (not from my garden unfortunately)

Drinking // Bubbles - cos I celebrated a birthday recently.

Feeling // Proud, nervous and excited for Miss B, she acheived some fabulous results at school, and is about to start her NCEA exams next week. My little girl is growing up.

Making // Plans and progress -  new pillows for my bedroom - pretty Liberty, Essex linen and Kaffe Fassett shot cottons

Thinking // That Christmas is pretty close now and I really need to do some shopping

Dreaming //Of a few days lying on a sunny beach, I'm so over cold windy days.  Not feeling like spring here.

  6. Look at all those pretty flowers in your garden! So lovely. It's super windy here too, which I do not appreciate at all, but I'm grateful for some cooler weather, however weird it might be for November :-)
    Happy belated birthday, too!

  7. Your cushions are going to be lovely, Julie. I love the fabric colours! I bought a few linen tea towels recently at an antique shop, the kind that are touristy keepsakes, because I want to make my Mum a few cushion covers for the outdoor chairs on her little patio. I haven't ever sewn cushions before so will hopefully work out. Meg:)

  12. Happy belated birthday, Julie! There are no fat juicy fresh strawberries for bubbly snacks in my garden yet either, any my plants are quite a ways behind yours right now. Lots of promise though! Looks like you have a delicious December ahead. :)
