Weekending

Loving // This fabulous pile of inspirational books from the library
Eating //Sour Cream and Chive potato chips.
Drinking //Water  - trying to up my intake again, though it is easier now it is a little warmer
Feeling // Inspired by the beautiful weather, but lacking the motivation to get out there and do something
Making // more 6.5" blocks for my City Sampler quilt - 25 done so far, only 75 to go.
Thinking //about making marmalade with these orange limes I have been gifted. They are sour!!
Dreaming //About renovating my living areas.

  1. I've never heard of or seen orange limes. That's quite a pile you've got from the library, I love coming home with a big pile of books like that.

Thank-you so much for joining in again Julie!

  2. I'd love to dive into that pile of books Julie! There are some great titles there! Your City Sampler blocks are looking good! After a long winter I'm enjoying some longer walks, as the days get longer too. Sometimes its just a case of getting started.....

  6. Your 'city sampler' blocks are looking good, I do like the inclusion of solids in with them. Great stack of books, is the 'date night in' a patchwork one? - I recognise his name from somewhere.

  8. We have a mexican lime (still very young - no where near that bounty) that can be eaten green-yellow but ripens to orange. I used our first teeny weeny harvest for key lime pie at hubby's request (demand...) and it was delicious! Marmalade sounds yum. :)

  9. Nice blocks! It would be nice to have an orange tree in our garden but I think it won't like snow :)
