Today, The Scout and I did a short hike into Tawhitokino, such a beautiful, new to me beach. I well and truly needed a dose of vitamin sea, this was perfect.
what a beautiful place to see thanks for sharing your photos. I do not live near a beach and I always see that I am missing something when I see photos like this
Wow!! Thank you for sharing that beautiful place. I hadn't heard of this bay before, lovely it is close enough to Auckland for you to get to. Had a giggle, when hubby and I go for walks he is usually out ahead of me just like the Scout is. Thanks for the NZ hit.
Beautiful Julie You really are lucky to live so close to Nature's beauty! And making the most of the sunshine too- it will be gone for awhile soon, I guess!?
I wish I lived close enough to a large body of water where I could gather in a dose of vitamin sea as well. I know, the Mississippi River is not too far away and it does suffice most days but I do miss the vistas from the beaches of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior where I spent happy childhood hours.
Your comments are always read and very much appreciated. I will always endeavour to reply by email unless you happen to be a no-reply blogger. Thank you.
wow - we've had rain in the city for most of the day! Where is this stunning place?
ReplyDeleteEast of Clevedon, past Kawakawa Bay. We didn't get rain till about 3pm when we arrived home.

ReplyDeleteOh, that looks wonderful!! I am fairly desperate for vitamin sea, as well. Sigh. The rocks, huge and small, are fantastic.
